 YOUTH CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! 

 

  

*       To provide relevant, excellent ministries designed to reach out to as many students as possible

*     To introduce them to Christ

*     To help them successfully navigate life issues

*     To help them discover God's purpose for their lives

*     To empower them to reach out to others

*     To develop full time Christian leaders for the church

 

 

Crawling Activities: are introductory events away from the church designed for students to have fun and hang out with their friends.             

Examples include: Swim Parties, Ice Skating, Bowling, and our annual ski trip.

 Standing Activities: are events that allow students to become familiar with having fun inside a Church.

 Examples include:  Lock-ins, Bring-A-Friend Nights, Halloween Costume Parties, Christmas Parties and Super Bowl parties.

Walking Activities: are trips designed to help students grow in their relationship with each other and introduce their friends to Christ.

Examples include:  Lakeside Youth Retreats, Conference Ocean City Rock Retreat.

Jogging Activities: are designed to introduce students to Christ and help them grow in faith. 

Examples include:  Sunday School, Youth Group, Confirmation and Bible Studies.

Running Activities: are designed to allow students to put their faith into action.

Examples include:  Hopefools (Student Puppet Ministry), Drama, Vacation Bible School Volunteers, Camp Joy Volunteers, working with Pittsburg Project Ministry and local, state, national and international mission trips.

Relay Racing Activities: are fun, but intense!  Students are challenged to really think about what they believe and why and to integrate their faith into their everyday living.

Examples include:  Senior High Bible Study, Youth Disciple Study.

Marathon Activities: are for students who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, a commitment to faith development and a willingness to help other students grow in faith.

Examples include:  Youth Leadership, Conference Leadership Retreats and Training Opportunities.

 

 

This is an exciting place for high school students.  It's a safe place to share life's joys and challenges.  It's a caring place to make life-long friends and grow in faith.  It's the place for you!
